"Let me begin by thanking you and your staff ofprofessionals for going that extra mile and turning our dream of buying a new home into a reality.

When we started the process of looking for a home, we contacted a lender with whom my wife had a mortgage for many years. We came up with a dollar amount that both of us felt we could afford and went back to this lender for pre-approval. We were approved within hours.

After finding a home and negotiating a price we went back to the lender with all the specifics. The price was well under what we had originally been approved for and within a few hours we had a letter of committment from the lender and submitted that along with a signed contract to the sellers agent.

 Deal accepted, earnest monies down, we have 45 days to close March 1st.

The nightmare begins. Three weeks go by we hear nothing. I call, I'm told the mortgage is in underwriting, all is well. Another week goes by and nothing. I call, leave a voice mail, call retuned the next day. Lender needs more info. We give the lender what underwriting asked for and three days later are told to push the close date back to the 15th of March.

Another three days go by, I place a couple of calls each day with no return calls. We now feel the deal slipping away. Because of the lack of response the seller wants to start showing the home again. Lender calls and starts hinting that we may have to close at the end of March.

Now we start to panic. Enter Eagle Home Loans! I explain our situation to Herb. He gives us some options. We decide on one of the recommendations and within hours are approved.

Next day we hire Eagle and fire previous lender. Best move we made!!! The communication was fabulous! Every phone call returned promptly! Every question answered! The bottom line is that we closed on March 15th, less than two weeks after hiring Herb.

It even gets better. At the closing there were nothing but compliments from both attorney's and Chicago Title, as to how efficiently all the paper work flowed. The closing took less than an hour.
